This is a translation and commentary on fifty-three prophetic traditions in fifty-three chapters. It includes many verses from the Qur’an as well as a wealth of traditions from the holy Imāms together with a vast number of interesting tales, sermons, and proverbs. It is composed in beautiful Persian prose. Some of the author’s other works are: Rāḥat al-Arwāḥ wa Mūnis al-Ashbāḥ and al-Miṣbāḥ al-Munīr.
